The panels consist of high-quality plastic and very resistant tropical wood Ipe, which has a life span of more than 15-30 years.Substructure is made of plastic, resistant to high and low temperatures with minimal operation.
There is no need to specifically protect the panels against the snow, cold, water, or moisture. They will not damage the plastic grid.
Ipe is a tropical species of wood which stems from South America. Due to its natural density of the wood is solid and does not operate where the wood species, where they are exposed to increased humidity, water and physical stress.
Ipe wood naturally contains oil that growth produces itself, to protect against high humidity, rotting and parasites. Panel will not develop algae, fungi or mucus which are slippery and may consequently be dangerous when we are barefoot on a wet surface (pools, bathrooms, saunas, ...).
Wooden panels are further pre oiled and so the wood is additionally protected.
Like all other types of wood, Ipe also over time (1,2,3, .. seasons) loses the freshness of it's color when exposed to natural weather conditions (rain, sun ...).
Due to the changes of the colors, wood it self does not lose its qualities of strength and performance.
For mounting the panels you don't need additional grid, screws, adhesives, ...

If we want to repay the freshness of the wood and protect it further, just where appropriate, apply 1-2 layers of oil to protect the wood.
